Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club is thrilled to announce the dates and designers of the highly anticipated 40th anniversary Decorator Showhouse. Bunny Williams, the celebrated interior designer who is decorating a room with David Kleinberg and Brian McCarthy in honor of Albert Hadley, is this year’s Chair. The showhouse will be open to the public May 16 through June 14, 2012. The President's Preview Dinner will be held on Monday, April 30th at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the opening night cocktails will take place on Tuesday, May 15th. Over four decades the showhouse has raised more than $17 million for the non-profit.
Since 1915, Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club has worked to improve and enhance the lives of the New York City children who are economically, socially or recreationally disadvantaged. Each year, Kips Bay offers innovative programs to more than 12,000 young people between the ages of 6 and 18 at ten locations throughout the Bronx, with essential afterschool programs created to help them recognize their potential for growth and success.
