Architect Robert A.M. Stern will receive this year’s Innovator Award at the yearly Connecticut Cottages & Gardens Innovation in Design Awards. The 10th annual award is presented to “an icon of the design industry, one individual who has achieved an overarching level of innovation and excellence.”

The awards will also recognize Connecticut-area projects across the categories Interior Design, Architecture, Landscape Design, Kitchen Design, Bath Design and Product Design, plus a new category, Small Spaces, which includes design projects of 1,000 square feet in size or less (such as apartments, guesthouses or pool houses).

The awards are judged by an expert panel, which this year includes Thomas Balsley, Laura Bohn, Mary Foley, Matthew Patrick Smyth and Greg Tankersley, as well as CTC&G editors and the magazine’s online readership.
Project submissions are being accepted until March 4.
