In honor of the brand’s 70th year, Farrow & Ball is releasing nine new colors today. (It debuts new colors only every two to three years.) The hues include neutrals, pastels, dark tones and brights, each designed by the brand’s experts over the last three years. They replace nine existing shades, to keep the company’s color palette at 132 colors total.

The new hues include: Shadow White No. 282, Drop Cloth No. 283, Worsted No. 284, Cromarty No. 285, Peignoir No. 286, Yeabridge Green No. 287, Vardo No. 288, Inchyra Blue No. 289, and Salon Drab No. 290.

Also launching are three of the brand’s iconic wallcoverings, now in new colors. They include: Bumble Bee, an early design initially sourced from a silk found in Joséphine Bonaparte’s bed chamber; Tessella, an interlocking mosaic pattern inspired by a 19th-century design; and Silvergate, another 19th-century pattern, hailing from England.
