The ceremony will take place on April 18 at Coverings ’16 in Chicago.
Last year's Coverings event
A new category this year, Scouting Shots will award a project that features amateur photography. The winner will receive a professional photography session and the photos will be displayed at the Opening Night Celebration. Winners will be announced during the cocktail reception, and attendees will be able to meet the designers behind the projects. The celebration is free for all attendees.
“Through the CID Awards program, we are excited to commend the innovators in the tile and stone industry,” said Karin Fendrich, Coverings show director. “As the program continues to grow, we look forward to recognizing the designers creating unique spaces and the installers who uphold the reputation of the industry by perfecting the execution of installation techniques.”
Grand-prize winners will receive $2,000 and a one-night hotel stay in Orlando. Winners must be available to attend the awards celebration to be eligible (excluding international projects). There is no entry fee, and designers and industry professionals can submit multiple entries. Submissions will be accepted from professionals in all areas of design and installation. Entries can be submitted though the online portal until January 18, 2016. Learn more.
