Studio Van den Akker's October 13 "Meet the Makers" Event drew a 100-attendee crowd, among them designers Wesley Moon, Antonino Buzzetta, Alberto Villalobos, David Scott, Dennis Miller, Malcolm James Kutner, Christine Haney of Farrow & Ball and Dorothy Winkler of Reagan Hayes. Other attendees included Orli Ben D'Or and Laura Yoon of House Beautiful, Joe Harper and Melissa Feldman of Departures. They gathered to celebrate the launch of the brand's new DD&B showroom and to meet their band of makers, including Martyn Thompson, Pamela Sunday, Kathryn Scott and Christian Heckshler.
