The National Kitchen & Bath Association is seeking entries for its second annual NKBA U Professional of the Year. Open to both NKBA members and non-members alike—including designers, builders, remodelers, architects, dealers, manufacturers and representatives, plus retailers—the contest will award four finalists with airfare, hotel accommodations and a VIP pass to KBIS 2016 in Las Vegas. (The VIP pass includes: one show floor pass, a three-day Voices from the Industry Conference Pass and one ticket to the BASH.)
The deadline is September 23. Applicants are asked to submit three 250-word essays “detailing how NKBA University or other avenues of professional development have advanced their career, the role professional development will play in their career advancement and why they deserve to be named NKBA U Professional of the year.” Those applicants making it to the semifinals round will “receive a customized NKBA U curriculum and submit a short video explaining how NKBA U courses will advance their career. The videos will be posted to the contest’s landing page for public voting.”
