Las Vegas Market’s fifth annual “Up on the Roof” gala—the largest in the event’s history—raised $10,000 to benefit Gift for Life, the sole charitable partnership between the gift, home accessory and stationery industries, which raises funds in support of HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and education. More than 300 attendees gathered at Market’s WorldView Ballroom to take in panoramic views of the Las Vegas skyline and raise funds, both via ticket sales and through a Sin City–themed silent auction. Highlights from the auction included hotel stays at the LINQ, Golden Nugget, Treasure Island and the Cosmopolitan hotels, as well as show tickets, spa gifts and other items.

“Las Vegas Market is committed to supporting the gift and home decor industry and to raising awareness and funds for the essential efforts of the industry’s chosen charity,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers, and Gift for Life board member. “Over the past five years, Las Vegas Market’s Up on the Roof events have raised more than $50,000 to benefit Gift for Life.”
