Interiors and contemporary design magazine Interni will host a series of talks during London Design Week next month. The series, called Interni Design Apertivo, will be held in Italian flagship brand showrooms throughout London and will feature London-based design icons.
"The protagonist of the conference is Design, intended as a universal language of contemporary life and living,” says Interni director Gilda Bojardi. "We are now looking at a more flexible concept of living, that permeates every part of the urban city, public or private. If the 20th century was the century of modernity, the 21st is open to new languages, in which the individual values are focused toward finding widespread prosperity. A mission easily perceived both in the production of furniture design and in the creative world, where architects and designers are the main interpreters, according to one's philosophical vision and planning, of highly innovative solutions.”
Chipperfield kicks off the series on Sept. 19.
