Nearly 300 companies from 47 countries and six continents will participate in the winter 2011 edition of the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF), offering a range of global resources in many categories.
Many international government-sponsored contingents will participate with their own exhibits including Africa, England, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Russia, England, Egypt, Italy and Peru.
Companies from around the world also exhibit independently in the Fair, with the following countries represented: Afghanistan, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Canada, China, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mali, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, Niger, Nigeria, Peru, Portugal, Russia, Senegal, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, the United Kingdom and Uzbekistan.
Africa Now!, Ateliers d’Art de France, British Jewellery and Giftware Exports, Israel Export Institute, JETRO New York (Japan), Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH (Germany), PROMEXICO, the Russian pavilion and the Italian Trade Commission represent a few of the exhibits. The American Chamber of Commerce from Peru, Egyptian Exporters Association (Expolink), the Israel Export Institute, and the British Crafts Council and Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH (Germany) will also be featured.
“Not only are global resources readily accessible throughout the Fair, they are conveniently categorized for buyers in themed product divisions,” said Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF director and GLM senior vice president.
NYIGF runs Saturday, January 29, through Thursday, February 3, 2011,at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 92 and 94.
