After a "soft launch" opening in November, H.D. Buttercup has officially opened this week in a 150,000 square-foot building, formerly a meat packing facility.
CEO Evan Cole, one of the founders of New York's ABC Carpet and Home, established the original Los Angeles store five years ago. He cites his recipe for success as a combination of diverse selection, affordable pricing, and in-stock inventory.
The new store caters to consumers as well as the interior design trade and offers a product mix ranging from $10 accessories to $25,000 hand-stitched mattresses.
