It's the end of an era at the Decoration and Design Building in New York City as its 14th floor restaurant, Astra, has officially shut its doors after 17 years in business on May 31.
Taking its place will be Upper Story, a new restaurant by chef and restaurateur Charlie Palmer (who also owned Astra), scheduled to open in October, according to an article in the Post.

Upper Story will serve modern American Cuisine and will seat up to 160 guests—open to both interior designers and the general public. It will be roomier than Astra by 765 square feet.
